Oklahoma City, OK (July 2025) — The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) has hired Maddie Weber to lead its marketing efforts as Senior Director of Marketing. In this role, Weber will oversee branding, digital strategy, media relations, and member engagement across all platforms.
Weber brings experience in equine sports marketing and a strong background in communications, with a focus on digital media, event promotion, and sponsor engagement. Her responsibilities will include guiding NRHA’s brand development, expanding its audience reach, and supporting international growth. Weber has a strong understanding of the equine community and a practical approach to marketing. Her experience and leadership will help NRHA better connect with its members and the broader Western sports audience.
Before joining NRHA, Weber held marketing leadership roles in both nonprofit and private-sector organizations. She most recently served as Marketing Director for Ranch Fuel, an energy drink brand tailored to the western lifestyle. Prior to that, she was the TV Programming and Production Manager at the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), where she coordinated broadcast and livestream programming for PRCA events in partnership with The Cowboy Channel. She has also been involved with projects like The American Performance Horseman, further deepening her connection to the western performance horse industry.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Weber competed on the OSU Equestrian Team for five years while earning dual undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, as well as a Master of Business Administration. Her background as both a competitive equestrian and strategic marketer makes her uniquely positioned to elevate NRHA’s presence within the equine and western industries.
Weber and her husband live on a ranch in Waukomis, Oklahoma, where they raise team roping and calf roping horses. Their day-to-day life in the western performance horse world gives her a grounded, authentic perspective on the community NRHA serves. “I attended my first NRHA Futurity in 2014 and have been hooked ever since,” said Weber. “Reining is the pinnacle of elite horsemanship—what these athletes and their teams put into each equine athlete is a true testament to the highest level of dedication and training. There’s incredible opportunity to grow the sport and engage new fans, while honoring the traditions and values that make this industry so special.”
