Running May 7–12, 2019, the 2019 Carolina Classic will return to the Tryon International Equestrian Center again this year. In addition to over $45,000 added in the Derby, a double slate of NRHA classes will be offered. The show will feature two CRIJ3* and CRIYR3* classes to help junior and young riders qualify for this year’s FEI Reining World Championships.
Entry deadlines have been relaxed to allow flexibility, but exhibitors need to reserve stalls in advance through TIEC by visiting tryon.coth.com/page/stabling-request#top. Keep in mind, the earlier stalls are reserved, the closer the placement will be towards the indoor arena.
“Looks like Tryon has got things in gear for the 2019 Carolina Classic! Hopefully we will have great North Carolina Spring weather. We will still be in the same barns as last year, but the larger indoor make up pen and the extra large arena will be great,” said NRHA President Mike Hancock. “There will still be some amenities not completed yet, but the showing conditions should be outstanding. Check out the TIEC website or Pro-management-inc.com for all the information concerning schedule, and entry.”
Move-in is currently scheduled for Tuesday of the show week, but arrivals will also be allowed on Monday at no additional charge.
