Tremblay & Muehlstaetter Lead NRHA Futurity Open Preliminaries First Go after Second Section

The National Reining Horse Association Open Futurity preliminary rounds continued Friday, Nov. 29, with the second section of the first go. More than 100 horses walked through the gate of the Jim Norick Coliseum at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City.

Currently leading the Level 4 Open are Dany Tremblay and Martin Muehlstaetter, who piloted their horses to scores of 221.5. Tremblay was riding Amazing Gun, while Muehlstaetter rode Seven On Seven. Seven On Seven, by Spooks Gotta Whiz and out of Anne Get Your Gun, is owned by Anne Solbraekke.

Tremblay and Amazing Gun, by Colonels Shining Gun and out of Miss Whizard Star, also lead the Level 3 Open. Amazing Gun is owned by Daniel Bouchard and Tremblay Reining Horses.

Cade McCutcheon and Deja Vu With A Gun maintained their lead of the Level 2 Open with a 220. Deja Vu With A Gun, owned by David Silva, is by Gunner and out of Dun Its Deja Vu.

Martin Muehlstaetter

Also holding onto their lead in the Level 1 are Hava Vital and Dee Dee Boeckman’s A Sparkling Dream with a 218.5. A Sparkling Dream is by A Sparkling Vintage out of Msdreamy.

Todd Sommers and Amarilla Gunner lead the Prime Time Open with a 219.5. Amarilla Gunner, by Gunnatrashya and out of RHM Nu Amarilla Chex, is owned by Stephany Monteleone.

The first go of open competition concludes Saturday, and the top 75 from each division will advance to the Open Semi-Finals which will begin Monday, Dec. 2.
