For Immediate Release – Oklahoma City, Okla. – September 06, 2017 – Following the success of last year’s Invitational Freestyle at the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity, the NRHA is excited to announce its return again this year. The competition will feature a total of 10 riders: the top three riders at the 2017 Denver Freestyle, the top three scores from the 2016 All American Quarter Horse Congress Freestyle, and four riders from a fan vote.
In order to be eligible to apply, all you have to be is a current NRHA member in good standing!
Send your best freestyle reining routine to Hayley Eberle at heberle@nrha.com. All video submissions meeting the requirements will be published so that Oklahoma residents and reining fans across the globe can pick their favorites.
Submissions must be received by September 14th at 11:59 p.m. in order to be considered. Late submissions will not be accepted. All videos must be a downloadable file in one of the following formats: (.MOV .MPEG4, MP4, .AVI, .WMV,. MPEGPS, .FLV,3GPP, WebM). Files sent in an email or through a Dropbox link will also be accepted as long as they are in one of the approved formats listed above.
