Certified Horsemanship Association’s April Radio Show To Discuss “Getting Your Horse Crazy Youth Involved at the Local, Regional, and National Levels” with CHA Board Members Hayley Eberle with NRHA and Christine Gillett with APHA
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (April 2018) – The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) will be discussing “Getting Your Horse Crazy Youth Involved at the Local, Regional, and National Levels” on CHA’s April Radio Show with “Horses in the Morning.” The hosts of the show include CHA CEO Christy Landwehr, Glenn the Geek, and Coach Jenn. This topic is perfect for the two guests on the show. CHA Board Members Hayley Eberle and Christine Gillett have a lifetime of experience working with youth, especially in the horse industry.

Hayley Eberle of Oklahoma City, OK, has been with the National Reining Horse Association since 2013 and is the current Manager of Marketing and Outreach. She manages the Sire and Dam Program, marketing of NRHA’s programs, and alliance partnerships. She has served as the staff liaison for several NRHA committees and served on the American Youth Horse Council (AYHC) Board of Directors and several AHYC committees. She joined the CHA Board in October of 2016. This native of Georgia who has been an active horse show competitor has a Bachelor of Science from the Horse Science program at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), along with a Minor in Business Administration. While at MTSU, she competed on the school’s Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and horse judging teams. She has extensive experience as a volunteer working at equestrian events through the American Stock Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. In 2012, Eberle earned her AQHA Show Management certificate.
Christine Gillett of Fort Worth, TX, is the Director of Events and Youth Activities at the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), a CHA Certified Instructor, and has been on the CHA Board of Directors since October 2015. She is also a graduate of MTSU’s Horse Science program and an alumnus of the MTSU Equestrian Team. Gillett coordinates APHA’s youth programming, including the AjPHA National Leadership Teams, the novice youth program, and activities at the AjPHA Youth World Championship Show. As a volunteer, she has managed and worked at events run by IHSA, AQHA, NRHA, and the Interscholastic Equestrian Association. Her competitive pursuits have also included all-around events.
