AustrianRHA Futurity: Dominik Reminder takes lead in Open Futurity Go round 4-year-old Horses

43 horses had been nominated  for the Futurity Open Go round 4-year-old horses, and what a sight it proved to be! Scoring a 224 Dominik Reminder and Clemens Hefel‘s Selectively Whiz (Amendago Whiz x Selectively Done) took the lead in Level 4. The stallion bred by Jan Dirk Bodenstab, was ninth at the NRHA Breeders Futurity 2016! Dominik Reminder who is training in Italy, just earned individual and team silver for Germany at the FEI European Championship in Givrins. He is a multiple Bronze Trophy Open Champion and earned team silver at the 2016 FEI World Championship. He was NRHA Open World Reserve Champion 2013 and won the AMERICANA Bronze Trophy Open.

With a score of 223,  Davide Brighenti and Francesco Bonadeo’s Spooks Gotta Crome (Spooks Gotta Whiz x Chics Love Crome) placed second. The mare was bred by Carlo Orsi.  Brighentiwho earned team gold at the 2008 FEI European Championship, rode this horse into the 2016 AustrianRHA Futurity finals.

Markus Gebert and Angelika Gerbert‘s Paint stallion Whiz A Lot  (Spooks Gotta Whiz x Lotti vom Letter Berg) placed third scoring a 222. Angelika Gebert rode this horse bred by Monika Peterka to the 2016 ARHA Futurity Championship Non Pro Level 3 and 4.

This also meant the lead in Level 3 Open for Davide Brighenti and Spooks Gotta Crome with Fabio Polesel and Black Gotta Gun (Dunit Gotta Gun x Be My Sweet Surprise) following on second place with a score of 221.5 scorten. The stallion which was bred by Arena Alessandro took the lead in Level 2 with Alicja Kula aboard Katarzyna Roleska’s mare Shining Whiz Olena (Shiner Olena x Shining Whiz) placing second (219.5). With this, Alicja Kula and Shining Whiz Olena also won the Level 1 Open with Mike Baloun and his Gotta Custom Turbo (Spooks Gotta Gun x Custom Gunners BH) placing second (217) and Nico Sicuro aboard Emma Villa’s AB Magnolia Taris (OT Taris San Peppy x Mare Made) placing third (215)

Third place honours in Level 3 Open went to Klaus Lechner aboard Astrid Eisendle’s mare Trashy (Gunnatrashya x ARC Martha Surprise, 221), in Level 2 to Verena Klein aboard Melanie Peter’s Gunners Dark Edition (Hollywood Gun Dunnit x Well Dun In Sparks, 219)
